The Air Quality Standards Coalition is a front group with 500-600 member companies housed in the National Association of Manufacturers' Washington, D.C. office. The group is no longer active, but may still exist as the "Air Quality Coalition."

AQSC is a front group started by National Association of Manufacturers, the American Petroleum Institute, and the American Automobile Manufacturers Association. The group was very active in lobbying against stricter air particulate and ozone standards in the late 1990s. Anti-clean air campaigns included radio and print ads claiming higher particulate standards, based on "junk science," would ban backyard barbeques. More recently they have opposed stricter EPA haze standards.
