One of the early conservative legal foundations, Landmark Legal Foundation works on school vouchers, welfare reform, environmental laws, and other topics relevant to "leading the fight to preserve America's founding principles."
Founded in 1976 as the Great Plains Legal Foundation, Landmark Legal Foundation believes its challenge today is " to preserve America's founding principles of individual liberty, free enterprise and limited government ...never has America been faced with such a dramatic and continuous onslaught by powerful interest groups and unions dedicated to tearing down those liberties and advancing Big Government..."
